Influence Family Support To Adolescent Prisoner Selfesteem In Children Prison Class IIA Blitar

Background : Family support is attitude, action, and family absorption to client in the form of information support, appreciation, instrumental, and emotional. This family support is very needed by adolescent prisoner in Children Prison Class IIA Blitar that generally this adolescent prisoner don't have social awareness and strength of spiritual so their action become more primitive and queit. If this situation is let regularly, it will influence their selfesteem, because on young progress someone starting to put address on movement fisiology, psikology, and also social aspect. The purpose of this research is to know family support influence to adolescent prisoner selfesteem in Children Prison Class IIA Blitar.
Method : This research use correlation study design with approach of cross sectional. The population is all of adolescent prisoner in Children Prison Class IIA Blitar. Amount of sampel 50 respondents with sampling purposive technique. The independent variable in this research is family support, while its dependent variable of adolescent convict selfesteem.
Result : The result of this research show that 21 respondents (42 %) have good family support, 19 respondents (38 %) its family support of medium, while 10 respondents (20%) its family support is less. High selfesteem 29 respondents (58 %), low selfesteem 21 respondents (42 %). Analysis by using chi-square got by result of signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 meaning Ho refused so it can be summarized that there is family support influence to adolescent prisoner selfesteem in Children Prison Class IIA Blitar.
Conclusion : Based on the result of this research it is hoped that there will be family support improvement to adolescent prisoner in Children Prison Class IIA Blitar, specially appreciation, and emotional support.
